From June 1st, 2022, refugees from Ukraine are entitled to basic security (unemployment benefit II).
From June 1st, 2022, the job centers will look after the refugees from Ukraine. If the requirements are met, there is an entitlement to subsistence benefits (including health insurance). In addition, the costs for accommodation and heating can be covered.
In addition to these support services, you have access to all funding and qualification offers, such as language courses, integration courses and further training opportunities. The job center in the district of Rottweil supports you with the recognition of your professional qualifications and works closely with the relevant authorities, network partners and also the refugee accommodation.

The prerequisite for applying for unemployment benefit II is the submission of the so-called fictional certificate or a residence permit according to § 24 para. 1 of the Residence Act (AufenthG) and registration in the Central Register of Foreigners (AZR).
Do you have a fictional certificate or a residence permit according to § 24 paragraph 1 AufenthG and are registered in the AZR, you can already apply for unemployment benefit II for the period from June 1st, 2022.
